Established in 1988. Founded by co-owner David Lair, GIA Graduate Gemologist. We originated in a small building down the street which we quickly outgrew and our free standing store on Lee Road has been home since 1990. For over 30 years Goldsmith Jewelry Shoppe has been Central Florida’s Personal Jeweler providing an inviting personal experience for all our customers. We are dedicated to offering a selection of fine jewelry, customer service our customers deserve while making important jewelry purchases. Business Owner
David Lair, co-owner, found his passion for jewelry at the young age of 13 growing up in his father’s jewelry manufacturing business. He continued to study under his father through high school, later enrolling in the Stewart School of International Jewelers in South Florida. He continued his love and jewelry education earning his Graduates Degree from the Gemological Institute of America, the most prestigious credential in the industry.

He partnered to open Goldsmith Jewelry Shoppe in 1988. 25+ years later, David still hand selects each diamond in our showroom and is often found in our custom design/repair lab overseeing each in every piece that comes out of our store.
