Established in 2006.
Delifonseca is owned and run by Candice Fonseca and Paul Humphreys. Opened in June 06 this place is all about a love of food. We sell, serve and create food with good flavour and known provenance We think that personal, friendly and knowledgeable service is essential to the Delifonseca creed We champion independent producers, with a good emphasis on local and British produce We believe that cooking is a basic life skill that ideally everyone should have, that can be fun. We stock a range of products to suit all budgets from basic through to luxury. We see the deli as a modern ‘corner shop’. We believe we are a worthy addition to the Liverpool city centre community We believe that supermarkets have pushed the emphasis on ‘lower prices’ too far and that the true cost of such food is far higher and can actually be measured in the damage to the farming community, the environment and the local high street and its community.
