Boise Auto Clearance started out as a hobby – just selling a car per month for fun. With no prior experience in the auto industry, owner, Brad Tibbs never learned the high pressure sales tactics, gimmicks, and other “tricks” of the trade from the auto sales industry. Every step was a learning process. As Craigslist became a popular site for selling things, Boise Auto Clearance quickly grew to selling 20 cars per month with NO paid advertising. Eventually the hobby became full time and now we have a nice lot with a 3 bay full-service mechanic shop where we spend great care reconditioning vehicles, getting them ready for their new owners. We began offering financing in 2009 and warranties on our cars in 2010. We now sell over 500 cars/year and continue to grow as we continually learn how to better serve our customers.
