Our services include Small Dog Daycare, Grooming Salons, nutritional consultations, non-anesthetic teeth cleaning, and obedience training. We also host a wide variety of events to bring the pet community together to show the importance of canine bonding and pet education. With the wide variety of services and events we offer, we aim to create an environment that leads to ultimate pet health and happiness. Founders Andrew and Mark created Healthy Spot to fulfill a pet’s life – mind, body, and bowl.

Healthy Spot was founded by former colleagues and friends, Andrew Kim and Mark Boonnark. Passionate pet owners themselves, they realized the dangers of commercial pet foods during the 2007 pet food recall. This set them on their journey to provide the finest foods and products for pets, as well as delivering first-rate services and hosting events to bring the pet community closer together. Healthy Spot is a product of their vision, where we inspire healthy pet lifestyles by creating authentic experiences and foster community, one pet a time.

Business Owner
Andrew Kim was born in Los Angeles and has loved pets since an early age. Growing up, he had two Rottweilers, KoKo and Magic, to which he formed a strong bond with and saw them more as family than pets. Unfortunately, KoKo and Magic passed away while Andrew was attending UC Berkeley.
This is where he met his future partner, Mark Boonnark. Mark was born in New York and partakes in the same passion for pets as much as Andrew. He grew up with a Golden Retriever named Biscuit, who spent 12 wonderful, love-filled years with Mark until unfortunately passing away from cancer.
Both Andrew and Mark share an undeniable love for dogs, and though they’ve owned other dogs since, they have fond memories of their very first pets. They’ve made it their mission to provide pet owners with healthy, quality products to keep pets healthy and happy
