Owner Miranda Boyle possessed a love of fashion from an early age, partly due to the influence of her stylish grandmother who, in Miranda’s words, “never wore the same outfit twice”. Miranda spent years in retail at big and small businesses, and as her career was blossoming, her family began to blossom as well. She made the choice to stay at home, but the spark for the worlds of retail and fashion never diminished. After 10 years at home with her kids and husband, she felt the itch to get back into the beloved field that she stepped away from a decade prior.
THREAD is the culmination of Miranda’s dream.
It’s the result of influences that range from vintage bohemian and minimalist fashion, to her sister (who first encouraged her to open a store), to the designers that Miranda cultivates relationships with.
