Del Norte Bakery is a family owned and operated traditional Hispanic bakery serving our community for over 20 years. Our Lindsley Avenue location is conveniently located near Dallas’ Lakewood and Hollywood Heights neighborhoods. We specialize in beautifully decorated cakes for weddings, Quinceineas, birthdays, christenings, special events and holidays. From multiple layers to fresh flowers to detailed icing, we create cakes you will be proud to display as the centerpiece of your event. Our cakes are baked fresh from fresh, high quality ingredients and come in classic flavors as well as exciting combinations like vanilla pineapple and chocolate raspberry. We also offer classic pan dulce made from our decades-old recipes and from quality ingredients. Visit us on the weekends and you can enjoy our delicious handmade authentic tamales. We offer pork, chicken, and bean/cheese/jalapeno varieties. No matter what you crave, Del Norte Bakery is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Established in 1989.
My father opened Del Norte Bakery in this same location over 20 years ago. I began working along side him at the age of 14 and just last year my husband and I took over the running of the bakery full time. We value our regular customers. Many of them have been visiting us often for years. In fact, a customer who bought her wedding cake from us recently came in to have us create the cake for her daughter’s Quinceanera. We also enjoy introducing our traditional treats and decorated cakes to new customers too. While we plan on introducing some new items, like our decadent cake balls, we will always keep providing the same delicious treats made from the recipes my father began the bakery with.
