Dr. Jeffery Starr graduated from UCSF School of Dentistry in 1989. Following Dental School, he began a one year Graduate Practice Residency at the Palo Alto Veterans Hospital before joining his father in private practice in 1990. Inspired by his grandfather, a national park planner and administrator, Dr. Starr received his undergraduate degree from University of California at Berkeley in Political Economy of Natural Resources. While saving resources remains important, he decided to pursue the career in other family business, saving teeth. Dr. Jeffery Starr is preceded in dentistry by his father Dr. James Starr, with whom he practiced with for ten years, and by his other Grandfather the park dentist at Yosemite National Park. There are patients in the practice who have received treatment from all three generations of Doctor Starrs. And, Doctor Starrs can proudly say they have treated four generations of several families.
