Veranda Dentistry is a cutting edge dental practice in Pleasant Hill IA and has been providing exceptional dental care for patients in Polk County for over 10 years. We offer preventive services, as well as treatment for orthodontics, periodontal disease (gum disease), TMJ, surgical implant placement and restoration, cosmetic veneers, same-day CEREC® crowns, onlays, and inlays. We offer gentle dentistry by numbing reversal with Oraverse, and less painful shots with OnSet and compounded topical anesthetic.

Dr. Chad Johnson developed Veranda Dentistry (formerly Oral Health Clinic, P.C.) in Pleasant Hill, Iowa, the small Central Iowa town where he was raised.

Dr. Chad is a Southeast Polk High School graduate. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa and continued at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005.

Dr. Chad is a member of the American Dental Association and its local affiliates: Iowa Dental Association and Des Moines District Dental Society, Academy of Laser Dentistry and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also involved with the Cerec® Mentor Group and serves as a Trainer for other dentists in the state of Iowa for Cerec®, a Sirona technology. Currently, Dr. Chad is working on his accreditation for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Chad and his wife, Sarah, have three children-Gabe, Sophia and Daphne.
