Hawaii based SilverBotanica Jewelry is a contemporary jewelry collection that allows the wearer to carry a little bit of paradise at all times. Timeless necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings and cuffs are handcrafted in the small island town of Honomu located at the gateway of Akaka Falls, on the Hilo side of the Big Island Hawaii. All of these botanically inspired originals are created using the lost wax casting method. Alicia & her husband, Brad Johnson cast each original creation in their artisan studio. The Artisan studio has a brick & mortar location and store that is open daily 12-6pm. And visitors are welcome to tour the studio and learn first hand the process of lost wax casting and silversmithing. Silversmithing & Lost Wax Casting Classes and Workshops are Available.

Established in 2002.
Alicia & Brad started selling Handmade Hot Rod Jewelry back in 2002 with there first web site Hi Octane Jewelry. The business has grown and they started another e-commerce web site called SilverBotanica.com that carries jewelry inspired by tropical locations. So the next obvious step was to move the business to a tropical location and open a brick & mortar store. So in 2014, the couple relocated back to Alicia’s hometown of the Big Island and opened a retail store at the gateway to the beautiful Akaka Falls water falls in the small quaint town of Honomu. The store also houses the couple’s artisan studio so you can get a tour of their world class jewelry studio and see the Art of Lost Wax Casting in action. Classes and Workshops are available too.
