OJ (Oscar Jr.) DeSouza took the reigns of Signature Baking Company about 15 years ago. His father, Oscar , started the company in 1978 which makes us one of the oldest local bakeries in Dallas!

Our connection in the bakery industry, though, actually goes back to Goa, India where his family is from. OJ’s Great grandfather started a bakery to feed his community in 1909. So the family has actually been doing baking (and breaking bread) for 111 years! OJ has expanded his B2B relationships in Dallas into convention centers, stadiums, and your favorite local restaurants. He’s excited to, with his wife, launch home delivery to continue feeding the community directly! We’re so excited to finally connect with our end consumer. This has brought us so much joy!
