Formerly Sacramento Beekeeping Supplies. Our store is a very unique type of “Mom & Pop” retail shop! It’s a 3rd generation family business with a friendly atmosphere! We are much more than a honey store. We carry a wide variety of “bee-themed” gift items, all beehive products (royal jelly, pollen, propolis), DIY skin care ingredients, 100% beeswax candles, soap & candle making supplies and more! At our “Tasting Bar” you can sample 1 or all of our 14+ varieties of honey so you know exactly which one to buy. Our goal is to make every customer that walks in the door feel like family!

Now Sacramento Honey Company! Sacramento Beekeeping Supplies first opened its doors on January 15, 1985! Fred and Nancy Stewart had a vision to provide the community with a place where hobby beekeepers could buy their equipment locally. The Stewart’s then expanded the business to include local honey and various honey products. This required the help of their 2 daughters, Pam and Donna. Over the next 35 years, Sacramento Beekeeping Supplies has become a staple throughout the community for natural bee products. We now carry beeswax candles and natural soaps as well as the ingredients to create your own body care products! As times began to change, we realized we needed to spice things up! We have stopped selling beekeeping supplies to focus on other aspects of the business. As of May 2021, we are Sacramento Honey Company and are 3 generations strong with the help of the Stewart’s granddaughters, Courtney and Brook.
