Precious Metal Arts is a Los Angeles jewelry studio located two blocks from the beach on Main Street in Santa Monica. We offer a variety of weekend and evening jewelry classes and workshops; small group and private tutoring in metalsmithing, wax carving, stone setting, and other jewelry techniques; full service custom jewelry design and repair; and a fine jewelry gallery featuring handcrafted sterling silver and karat gold by local and national jewelry designers.

Do your ideas exceed your abilities? Precious Metal Arts has been creating custom jewelry as well as helping aspiring jewelers develop their own creative skills for more than 17 years. Trained by a German Master Goldsmith through a traditional apprenticeship in South Africa, Peter Solomon brings a charming mix of imagination in practicality to his teaching and his custom design and expert repair techniques. The studio also features a fine jewelry gallery with a selection from local and national designers, as well as the work of some of our students.
