Maple Road Dental Practice

Maple Dentalcare is an Award Winning Family Dental Practice in Brooklands, Sale, Manchester. We are The British Dental Association’s “Practice of the Year 2012” In 2013 we won the British Dental Association’s Gold Award. We have been a Denplan “Excel” Practice since 2005 . We believe dental patient care is where we excel. At Maple Dentalcare Ltd our first priority is to treat each person individually with the best possible care. We want our patients to feel safe, and know that the dentist and staff are fully qualified and have the best training they can achieve.

Established in 1956.
Ian Hunt bought the Practice in 1999. He has developed the practice in the last decade to make it one of the leading establishments in the North West, caring for all types of clients young and old. He has established a family practice and has created a dedicated team with special interests in all aspects of dentistry. This means that all patients’ needs are provided for to a high standard.

Ian was born and educated in South Manchester. He went to Manchester University to study dentistry in 1986 obtaining his BDS in 1991 and started working part time at The Maple Road Practice soon afterwards as an associate for Mr Thomas.
Ian has a keen interest in implant and restorative dentistry with special interest in Endodontics (root fillings). Ian is active in postgraduate education obtaining his Membership of General Dental Practice in 2003 and in 2006 being one of the first to obtain a Diploma in Restorative dentistry awarded by the Faculty of General Dental Practice. Ian is a member of the North West division of FGDP.
In November 2011, Ian was awarded his FFGDP, this is Fellowship of the Faculty of General Dental Practice part of the Royal College of Surgeons. This is the highest award given by the Faculty.
