In 2009 The Moyers acquired 69 beautiful sacred acres on the island of Maui above the historic seaport town of Lahaina.
They had a vision to create a space that would be dedicated to restoring water sources, preserving the native natural eco – system and programs that benefit the community and all walks of life from around the world. Through the efforts of thousands of hours of dryland restoration, what was once just barren uphill terrain is now a flourishing sanctuary of restoration for the mind, body and land.
Lahaina Family Farms just celebrated their 10 year anniversary, honoring all of the accomplishments, challenges and love they have received throughout the journey that got them to where they are today.
