Dr. Podratz acquired this practice from Dr. Brandenburg in 2014. He has truly enjoyed treating patients of all ages, and sometimes many generations of the same family, in the neighborhood that he calls home. We are a friendly, low-key, family dental practice. We strive to treat our patients as unique individuals, and to help with any dental concerns they may have in an efficient and comforting manner. I am a firm believer in using prevention mixed with appropriate, conservative treatments to help preserve healthy tooth structure for a lifetime.

A native of Granite Falls, Dr. Podratz graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry in 2001. He has spent most of his professional career in private practice in Colorado. Dr. Podratz and his wife Alana have two young children. A few years ago they decided to relocate back to South Minneapolis to raise their children near where Alana grew up. Dr. Podratz is thrilled to have the opportunity to care for patients in that same wonderful neighborhood. Dr. Podratz is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minneapolis District Dental Society. Throughout the years he has volunteered for numerous outreach programs including the Colorado Mission of Mercy, Kids In Need of Dentistry (KIND), and Donated Dental Services (DDS). He enjoys the variety of treating patients of all different ages and backgrounds. When he is not busy with dentistry or his kids, Dr. Podratz enjoys running, camping, and almost all kinds of sports.
