I guess you could call us cheapskates, but we’ve been in business for over 15 years and have figured out what constitutes good home stereo. I like stereos. I’m not nutty about them or anything, but enjoy finding the right combination of equipment for any situation. And I still like the aesthetics of stereo — which is being lost in these days of the iPod and computer speakers. Don’t get me wrong, because I use an iPod and Sonos at home, but I still like touching the well machined knobs of an amplifier or cueing up an album on the turntable. I built Echo Audio to offer a little bit of everything so that people can discover how they’d like to connect with their music.
