Charlie Hawks started Charlie’s Gourmet Pastries in October, 1971, at the age of 50. He followed his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps in becoming a baker. Charlie worked for 20 years at Wolfie’s on the Beach, in Miami, Florida. He and his wife, Mae raised 6 boys, before moving to Orlando. Charlie’s has been known for their excellent product and continued quality. Gary continues to follow his father’s recipes and use only the finest ingredients to create all the delicious cookies, cakes, pies and pastries.
