Today, Brooklyn Heights Dental® is only about three miles from where Dr. Eugene D. Stanislaus’ father, Dr. Lamuel Stanislaus, started the family business in 1956. When Dr. Lamuel Stanislaus practiced, he was not only a caring and compassionate community dentist, but also an active and influential member of the community in other ways. As one of the founding members of the West Indian Day Parade, Dr. Lamuel Stanislaus saw the event move from its more humble beginnings to what it is today — a festival attended by millions on Brooklyn’s Eastern Parkway. After handing over the practice to his son, Eugene, Dr. Lamuel Stanislaus’ retirement has not been without excitement. He is the former representative of his native country Grenada as Ambassador at Large to the United Nations. After all these years, Brooklyn Heights Dental® is still providing personalized family dental care and cosmetic dentistry to patients from Brooklyn Heights, Fort Greene, Park Slope, and other areas across New York.

As a highly regarded cosmetic and restorative dentist serving Brooklyn Heights, Fort Greene, and all of New York City, Dr. Eugene D. Stanislaus has a wealth of expertise in the areas of dental implants, gum surgery, root canal therapy, and a wide range of other general dentistry, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry treatments.

Dr. Stanislaus received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 1984. He continued his education and training by completing a one year general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. In 1985 he acquired the dental practice then operated by his father, Dr. Lamuel Stanislaus, who retired the same year.
