Dr. Manolescu was inspired to become a dentist on a trip back to Romania where she volunteered to assist her aunt (who is a dentist) in providing dental care to people living in remote villages. The rewarding experience of alleviating pain, improving another person’s quality of life and self-image, motivated Dr. Manolescu to choose a career in dentistry.

In June 2005, Dr. Manolescu graduated from UOP, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Shortly thereafter, she returned to Los Angeles to practice dentistry, where she worked in a private dental office for 6 years. Dr. Manolescu made the move to San Diego in 2011 to be with her fiancé and is looking forward to settling down and starting a family.
