We carry a large selection of fresh, natural, holistic, organic and raw foods especially blended for your special family members – yours dogs and cats! Instead of mass market foods, we cater to the everyday problems dogs and cats may have such as allergies to foods, digestive issues, kidney problems, and senior problems like joint liver, and stomach issues. Some dogs and cats must have grain free diets, dry or canned diets. We have the perfect product just for them. We deal with other types of food allergies as well as the picky and fussy eaters out there. We also have lots of fun treats your dogs and cats will love from bakery items to bones, chews and more. We are always price competitive and if we don’t have a product in stock, we can generally special order it just for you.

Established in 1998.
I became in interested in nutrition when we lost our first dog – a darling wire fox terrier, Asta, to kidney failure. I look back and sometimes wonder if it was those grapes she liked so much. That was back in 1997. From the time of her loss, I began looking into the effect of annual vaccinations, ingredients in foods and treats, and every other style of feeding protocol. At that time I developed quite a few dog recipes I prepared in my own kitchen. As I became more interested in different types of foods for dogs – raw, cooked, dry – I realized there was a whole new world out there. By June of 1998 we opened our doors. Our idea was to carry supplements, dog and cat foods, other pet treats, toys, leashes and collars. We started out small as the pictures above show. Luckily for us growth was eminent and continued. I’m sure it’s because we carry many quality products that cannot be obtained from other stores and we provide our clients with the best possible customer service

My dogs and the dogs of my customers (cats too) are my passion. I provide customers with alternative information and products. I receive referrals from a large number of veterinarians in the community. Those referrals arise when it comes to alternative feeding routines. Sometimes I also provide the nutritional support customers need, but vets don’t always have the time to tackle. It can be time consuming and can require a variety of steps and experimentation to achieve what works for our furry friends.

I have educated myself on alternative foods and supplements to support customers pets’ needs. We also appreciate the emotional stress our customers and their sometimes fragile, aging, family members are feeling and the compassionate care they need.

Through it all we have made every effort to achieve our goal of service, honesty, quality of products, variety of products, knowledge, caring support, and overall competitive pricing. We are there for “your babies”. They are ours too!
