Jewelry Judge Ben Gordon started in the Jewelry Industry in 1953 as a runner in New York’s Diamond District. Received Graduate Gemologist designation in 1967 from the Gemological Institute of America. With experience in jewelry manufacturing, sales and marketing, he closed his showroom to focus exclusively on appraising and has worked as an Independent Jewelry Consultant and Appraiser since 1977. Ben advocates for fair pricing and full disclosure and is available as a public speaker for organizations, clubs and groups. He has acted as an expert witness for legal cases, and is accustomed to working with attorneys, bankers, insurance agents and authorities in property identification and recovery.
