The store’s design, inventory selection, and merchandising collective is based on a “mountain urban eclectic” aesthetic. Accessories are selected from bi-annual European buying trips, often as exclusives and one-of-a-kinds. HW Home works with vendors to bring a dynamic aesthetic to their retail floors. It’s this unique mix of furniture, lighting, decorative accessories and accents, fine art, and personal care items that allow customers to experience the unexpected. “We expend a lot of energy on our fashion merchandising mix, making each vignette a visceral experience with our guests”, explains Jim. “People love the fact that we showcase the complete vision.”

In 1999, fueled by the unique combination of Jim Hering’s expertise as Holly Hunt’s showroom manager at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart, and Ron Werner’s financial savvy as Senior Vice President in Smith Barney’s Chicago office, Boulder was introduced to HW Home.
