Our focus has always been treating every customer like a regular from the first time they visit and providing unmatched service that has an added value-knowledge. Our store is filled with every imaginable product for all animals with a focus on natural & holistic. We carry everything you’d expect to find in a pet supply store with so many specialty items you don’t typically see. We carry more brands than any store around. Although we’ve won these awards it has never been our style to be complaisant. Established in 1992.
Premier Pet Supply was opened in July of 1992 by Ray Hesano. Ray had always been involved in the grocery business and was looking to find an opportunity in another industry. A pet lover himself he realized the options for quality foods, treats and supplements for his own pets were limited. Ray wanted to offer his future customers the same experience he had provided in the grocery business: a clean, bright store that offered cutting edge items at a great price. After a lot of research and a few sleepless nights Ray finally pulled the trigger on what would after a few short years become a staple in the community. In 1994, fresh out of high school, his nephew Mike Palmer began working full time while taking business courses in college. After graduation, Mike took over store operations, and continues as the face of Premier Pet Supply.

I am a proud father of 4 children and our beloved dog Bruno. I was in high school when I started working for my uncle at Premier Pet Supply back in 1994. I enjoy the day to day interaction with customers and the best part of being a part of a pet supply store is that people come to you because they want to,not because they have to. I realize that there are a lot of options out there and I can’t tell you how much it means to me to get the support we do. We all work hard here everyday to continue to build the trust our customers have with us. In 2012, I was proud to have been named one of Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson’s 40 under 40 Elite Executives. It is an award given to business owners in Oakland County that are leaders in their field and in community outreach.
