Witt-Century Modern opened June 16, 2018 as a brick and mortar store selling mid-century furniture, American, Scandinavian, or wherever cool furniture comes from, as well as art, mid-century or not, and other housewares and curiosities. Also open by appointment.

Previously employed as an engineer and analyst in the wind energy industry, I moved back to Chicago 3 years ago and suddenly had an apartment to fill with furniture. Starting at West Elm and C&B, I found myself gravitating toward mid-century design. I decided shortly I wanted the real deal, visited a few shops, including the one I now reside in, and was hooked. Bad. Now I try to bring my own unique style to my shop and hope you enjoy it too.
