Vulcan's Forge

Since 1986, Vulcan’s Forge has been making, repairing and selling the finest of jewelry. We have three full-time jewelers and can design, create and repair anything in Silver, Gold or Platinum. We have an extensive inventory of, and experience with Sterling Silver and are one of the few places that will repair or size your Sterling jewelry. Let us make something unique for you!

We are commited to Midtown Kansas City. The store was started in 1986 in the Westport Flea Market. We soon moved to 43rd and Main, then to 39th and Main. In 1992 we moved into 424 Westport, where we would stay through 9 years and a devastating fire. In 2005, we bought the building at 3936 Broadway and plan to stay here forever!

Russell has been a jeweler for over 30 years. After attending the first Kansas City Renaissance Festival in 1977, he entered a metalworking apprenticeship. Seven years of training provided a good foundation in handcraft. He continued independent research and practice into the jewelry arts and sculpture until going full time as the head jeweler of Vulcan’s Forge, a position he has held since 1986.
