We are Trove, a husband and wife who believe in good food, made from scratch. After many a saturday spent huddled on markets, selling chutneys + jams, in the wet + windy weather of our beloved Manchester, we decided that enough was enough, so we found a tiny space with a big heart + a big kitchen and Trove Cafe + Bakery was born. With some amazing family members + some lovely friends we have created a little haven of good food and friendly service. We bake artisan bread to use in our little cafe + to sell wholesale. We can make all sorts from beautiful sourdough to delicious rye. Our bread is special, it is made slowly from the best organic ingredients. We shape, score and load all the loaves by hand. They take a full day to produce and the result is bread that’s delicious with great keeping qualities. You will find no additives or improvers in any of our loaves. You will find us in Levenshulme, opposite the Antiques Village.
