Tonnemaker Valley Farm

We have two certified organic farms – one on the adjacent property in Woodinville and one in Royal City, WA. From these two farms we are able to offer over 600 varieties of certified organic fruit and vegetables while they are in season. We also offer a limited amount of U-Pick from June-October, including peas, flowers, herbs, and a pumpkin patch on our farm in Woodinville.

The farm in Royal City was established in 1962 by Orland & Pearl Tonnemaker. In 1992, after a few years of late season frosts that destroyed our orchard crops we began to diversify into vegetables that could be planted after the danger of frost had passed. Kole Tonnemaker, Orland’s grandson, and his family now own and manage the farm in Royal City and grow over 400 varieties of fruits and vegetables. In 1992 Kurt Tonnemaker, Kole’s brother, established the direct sales arm of the farm by selling at farmer’s markets and opening a fruit stand in Clearview, WA. Tonnemakers has grown “organically” since then and has established a farm in Woodinville, WA, as well as an on-farm farm stand, CSA subscription program, thriving farmers market business, and restaurant delivery program. The farm in Woodinville grows over 200 varieties of vegetables and flowers.
