Jill and Mark, the owners of Santa Barbara Koi, each have over 40 years of professional experience with raising Koi and operating Koi ponds. We are also extremely skilled w/ swimming pool and fountain repair, and maintenance. We also operate the only north to south Santa Barbara County wide warranty service. Mark has held a valid California C-53 swimming pool contractor’s license for over 30 years. Both Jill and Mark specialize in Koi, pond design, maintenance, construction, and repairs. Our maintenance crews service hundreds of accounts every week in the Santa Barbara County. We have two highly skilled repair crews and offer walk-in repairs. All necessary repair parts are stocked in our retail store. Our store stocks thousands of Koi, all Koi and pond supplies, and water plants. Jill and Mark personally handpick our Koi in Japan every spring and fall. After delivery into the United States, the imported Koi undergo a minimum of 12 weeks in quarantine at Santa Barbara Koi’s off-site quarantine facility. Santa Barbara Koi also operates a very large, as well as the only, pond equipment and parts wholesale distribution facility in the tri-counties exclusively for pond professionals and contractors.
