In 1977 Catherine Mansoor purchased her uncle Edmond Mansoor’s Egyptian Fine and Antique Jewelry store and established Catherine Mansoor Fine Jewelry in the same downtown Palo Alto historic location. At the dawn of her new family she decided to invite Adelaide Gore’s Bead Revival to join two stores in one space. Soon after Adelaide and Catherine purchased the Elizabeth Gamble jewelry estate and formed Mansoor & Gore Jewelers specializing in Arts and Crafts style antique and modern jewelry. In 1991 Adelaide’s daughter Julie Gore and Catherine joined forces and had a strong partnership for over twenty years. Catherine became the sole owner of Mansoor Fine Jewelers in 2015 and to this day they has maintained a truly awe inspiring collection of jewelry. Julie Gore Vanderburg has set up shop in Seattle as Jules Vanderburg Jewelry where she runs a cozy boutique in the Seattle Design Center.

After UCSB she bought her uncle’s jewelry store marking the beginning of what is now Mansoor Fine Jewelers. Catherine has created this gorgeous modern Arts and Crafts jewelry box for all to enjoy.
