Established in 2015.
Mahogany Smoked Meats was established in 1922 in Bishop, CA. After +90 years of business in Bishop we’ve added an outlet location in South Lake Tahoe. Back around 1922 a man known as Wally started the business of smoking hams and bacon with mountain mahogany logs for the local folks. The mahogany smoked taste was an immediate success and thanks to the many tourists in this beautiful High Sierra country, the word spread. In the 1980’s our mail order business was established so that our wonderful customers didn’t have to wait for their annual trip to the High Sierra to stock up on delicious smoked meats and jerky. In 2009 we opened our Smokehouse Deli.
