We specialize in sourdough breads using locally milled, regional grain, and pastries using local eggs and dairy. We also have vegan options, as well as a light lunch specials menu.

Established in 2017.
Levee was born as a cottage bakery – We used to do pop ups and the farmers markets around town. The community helped us grow into a brick and mortar.

My vision for Levee is, at the core, to create a space that idolizes community spirit in an all encompassing way–by being transparent in the process of where ingredients come from and the actual chain of labor involved which goes into the final product, as well as embracing the people who inspire me to make food. That’s what New Orleans has taught me more than anything, how important your neighbors are. That’s where the support exists. It’s about providing nourishment and satisfaction, without losing sight of food as tied to memory, culture and location. It’s not worth it if you can’t give the best to people; when you share food you’ve labored over, you’re giving part of yourself to someone.
