LMA started by accident…

Created in 2013, the idea had been marinating for quite some time.

I wanted to make a sweatshirt that said « Montréalaise » for my already existing brand Barilà. Once introduced, the sweatshirt quickly took on a life of its own! There was, and still is, a great desire in our community to communicate its pride, social identity, and female empowerment in a fun, playful, and cozy way.

Since then, LMA has become a go-to staple brand offering comfortable screen printed tee’s and sweatshirts along with other various products created in collaboration with Montreal artists.
