Here for the Cake specializes in custom cakes, cupcakes, cake balls, macarons and donuts for your next event. Each and every item is custom made to order. Every order is baked small-batch using quality ingredients such as real sweet cream butter, cage free eggs, premium chocolates and real Madagascar vanilla beans, just to name a few. And Susan does it all. She is the baker, the designer, the decorator, the delivery driver, and the admin. So rest assured that when you order from Here for the Cake, you are getting a cake that Susan has put her heart and soul into.

Although Here for the Cake officially started in 2018, Susan has been baking for friends and family since 2011, and her passion for creating custom cakes began in 2013.

Susan is a self taught baker and cake designer running her one-woman home bakery in Houston, TX. Susan started baking for friends, family and coworkers in 2011. After several years of hobby baking, Here for the Cake was finally born in January 2018. Susan hopes that her work will have continued success and with the help of her amazing customers, Here for the Cake will reach its full potential. Great things almost always start small.
