Whole grain breads, sandwiches, and bakery sweets are our specialty! Here at Great Harvest Bread Co. we bake everything from scratch daily. Our top selling item is our Honey Whole Wheat bread; we mill our own wheat and use local honey to make the bread. NO High Fructose Corn Syrup, dough conditioners, or preservatives. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch or wanting to cater an office lunch we’re sure to be a hit. Our most popular sandwich is our Grilled Turkey Pesto, but we hear all the time that we make the best Reuben in town. Come see for yourself. For sweet things we make giant cinnamon rolls, scones, cookies, and Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. Our Cinnamon Roll Bread is famous for being the best bread to make into french toast.

Great Harvest Bread Co. was started by a couple of genius hippies 30 something years ago. All of the bread stores are individually owned and operated. The Great Harvest here on Fairview and Cloverdale holds true to the vision that was formed when Great Harvest began; bake the highest quality, most wholesome and healthy bread possible. Since we opened in 2007 we also serve sandwiches for dine in and take out. We prepare catered lunches for offices. Our cinnamon rolls are the stuff of legends.

We are Jon and A.J. Whiting. We fell hopelessly in love with Great Harvest and their phenomenal bread and sweets while our oldest daughter worked at the Great Harvest in Kennewick, WA. And that love affair was built on more than just the fresh and delicious quality products. It was the energy and vibe of the bakery, the people who you couldn’t help but notice loved what they did and were having fun. We knew that was something we wanted to be a part of. And we are so excited to be able to share that passion back in our hometown of Meridian, ID!
