Glamorgan Bakery

Jan. 1977 is when Glamorgan Bakery opened for business. Rudy Bootsma and Don Nauta had partnered to bring a « touch of Dutch » to the community.

With a commitment to customer service and a fresh product they were soon making an impression on customers who were looking for a good family bakery.

After Rudy’s retirement Don continued to work with his family in the present location. The Nauta family keeps growing as 3, soon to be 4 of the 5 Nauta kids are now married and 5 grandbabies have been added. As teenagers the kids were heavily involved in the bakery but as time moved on only a few remain except on holidays when its all hands on deck.
