Direct Appliance specializes in the sales of all types of home and outdoor appliances. We are remodeling specialists and the largest appliance store in the area. Locally owned and operated, Direct first opened its doors in 1995, it was better known as the Direct Maytag Home Appliance Center on McHenry Avenue in Modesto. Direct Appliance quickly expanded to sell most major brands as well as offering service on the brands we sell as well. We have expanded in both space and inventory line. Changes included a substantial shift toward high-end appliances like SubZero, Thermador, Wolf, Gaggenau, Viking, Dacor and VentAHood, GE Monogram and Miele and Thermador. The showroom now features the largest high-end working showroom, cooking demonstrations every weekend, the « Cooking at Direct Appliance » TV show once a month, and ongoing special events.At Direct Appliance, we are proud to say that all of our appliance salespeople have extensive years in the business, and our service technicians are second to none. We know appliances and we are honored to serve you. Not every kitchen needs our appliances, but a lucky few deserve them!

First started as a Maytag only store, expanded to high-end appliances in 2001, then to include flooring, countertops, cabinets, sinks and more in 2010. Always locally owned.

Business Owner
Involved in the appliance industry nearly all his life, Ron has served in delivery, installation, as a service technician, then later in sales and for the past 14 years as owner of Direct Appliance at 2424 McHenry Avenue in Modesto.

Also an avid bass player, Ron has played in various local bands in the area, most recently with « Remedy » out of Oakdale for the past 16 years.

Born and raised in the Central Valley, he is pleased to serve the local communities that have given so much to him and his family over the years.
