Central Fish Company

Established in 1950, Central Fish Company has been Chinatown Fresno’s one-stop shop for Japanese groceries and fresh seafood. Complete with a restaurant, gift shop, and (of course) fish counter, we have a little bit for everyone. We even provide the freshest seafood at wholesale prices to Fresno’s local restaurants and eateries. Located just across from Chukchansi stadium, Central Fish Company has been a convenient and community-focused family business for decades. Get ready to dive in and get a taste for real straight-from-the-ocean freshness.

Located in Downtown Chinatown Fresno, Central Fish’s history is filled with tradition and family legacies. Original owners Akira and Nofuko Yokomi had a dream of providing Japanese groceries and fresh seafood to the Fresno community. Akira’s untimely death in 1996 forced his wife to seek business advice from nephew and current owner Ernest Doizaki. Central Fish Company has always been under family care and has valued customer-oriented service and quality products since day one.
