Welcome to Buffetts Candies! We proudly state Our candy is made to eat – not to keep! and once you take a bite, youll understand why. Using the best ingredients money can buy and not using any preservatives, we make fresh quality candy. Located in the heart of the Southwest in Albuquerque, NM, we are best known for using the pion nut in our creations. Dont be fooled by imitations – genuine pion nuts are not the same as other pine nuts. True pion nuts have a distinct and unique flavor. Even when the true pion nuts are scarce, we will not substitute any other type of nut.

Established in 1951.
George Buffett (1928-2012) started Buffett’s Candies after graduating from college and wanting to go into business for himself. His mother, Irma, suggested candy making since « all you need is a pot and a stove » and he jumped in. Turns out you need a bit more than that but with determination and a quest for quality candy, he made it work. Buffett’s Candies is still in the family and now being run by his children.

George Buffett (1928-2012) started Buffett’s Candies in 1956. He always enjoyed making candy and working with chocolate. He continued to work in the business until he was 82. His three children are continuing the business and his grandchildren are getting to the ages of expressing interest in the business as well!
