Omar and Julia Colon purchased Bert’s Market from Julia’s father in 2010. That would be Bert; yes, THE Bert…and the two of them have worked hard to put their own twist on Folly’s little « corner market », while maintaining the charm of the well-loved institution Julia’s father established.
Besides overseeing the store together, Omar and Julia keep busy raising their two daughters, (4 & 2) and have a third baby on the way.
