It all started in 2004 when Nicole’s brother-in-law asked Nicole & Gigi to bake a cake for his soon to be wife’s birthday. They decided to do cupcakes instead because they wanted something that was easy to serve, portion controlled and easy to clean up. So they displayed a tower of cupcakes and before dinner was served the majority of the cupcakes were gone….days later people were phoning wondering where did they get those cupcakes from. It was the spark that got them started. Inspired by their great grandmother Nana Davis, the two sisters have been baking in their parents and grandparents kitchens/restaurants since they were old enough to stand on a chair and assist Nana with all of her amazing sweet treats.
