The Crosby Tea Rooms

The Crosby Tea Rooms is a traditional English tea room, celebrating the best in British produce with a particular passion for quality home cooked food, home made cakes, and quality loose leaf tea. We wanted to create a homely environment where each and every customer is treated as a friend, therefore our menu is a mixture of meat, veggie, and vegan dishes and cakes! Located on College Road in Crosby, within walking distance from Crosby beach and train station. We are dog friendly, and allow well behaved dogs into the premises on a lead to enjoy a nice cold water or specially brewed doggy iced tea! Biscuits and small meals also available,we wouldn’t want your lovely pooch to feel left out now would we.

The Crosby Tea Rooms was started by a young entrepreneur straight out of university. She worked at restaurants while starting up her cake business in order to save for a retail unit. After only one year, The Crosby Tea Rooms was born. Jenny is now a qualified Nutritional Therapist, and lends her skills to the cakes she bakes for the shop. She has created a wide selection of cakes suitable for all dietary requirements. Available are dairy free, gluten free and raw vegan ‘cheesecakes’ which are suitable for diabetics, and raw vegans.

Jenny wanted to create a friendly environment for all of her customers. Its clear to see she has a huge passion for health, animals and the environment. All of the waste is recycled, they use 100% renewable energy supplier for their electricity, and shop as locally as possible to support other small and local businesses. The menu is a mixture of meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. They specialise in quality loose leaf tea, cakes, and afternoon tea.
