Reid's Fine Foods Myers Park

We are a locally owned and operated gourmet shop selling fresh local produce, cheese, eggs, meat, wine and snacks. Our butcher shop offers Certified Angus Beef , Dry Aged Prime Beef and the best chicken available. We offer Proffitt Farms Beef and Grateful Growers Pork. Seafood, lamb, veal and house made sausages are another great offering. We offer cooking and wine classes. Our wine selection is hand picked by our on staff wine expert. We also offer gourmet Chef take home items as well as catering. We serve lunch daily from our Queen City Kitchen which include hand made original sandwiches, homemade soups and one of a kind salads. And if you can’t get to us for some reason we also deliver.

Reid’s Fine Foods was founded in 1928 by J. Arthur Reid. Chuck Richards purchased Reid’s in 1989 and relocated from Providence Road to uptown Charlotte in 1998. After 2008 economic downturn, the business was then purchased by Tom Coker and Al Waugh of Charlotte. Reid’s Fine Foods was re-opened in a new location back in the original neighborhood in April 2011. Even with new ownership, we pride ourselves on our superior selection of specialty product, our award-winning meat department, wine shop, wine classes, first-class catering, popular cooking classes, wine classes, and gift services with a Southern twist. We were recognized by the National Association of Specialty Food Trade as one of the top 6 retailers in America.
