Dough Mama is the result of the belief that the love and care we put into our food is actually a delicious way to share love and care with others. We started in the small home kitchen of a classically trained pastry chef, grew to be a part of the daily fare of notable Columbus restaurants, and now provide our lovingly hand-made goods at our storefront in Clintonville. At Dough Mama, we believe that the community we create is just as important as the delicious pies and pastries we make. Perrie was born in Los Angeles, and raised in Brooklyn, NY. After undergrad at Hampshire College, she was classically trained in Pastry Arts at the International Culinary Center (formerly known as the French Culinary Institute) in New York City. She began her career assisting Brenna White at The Smile, and then baked at the critically acclaimed Pies N’ Thighs, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn before bringing her talents to the Arch City. She was inspired to create Dough Mama by her passion for baking and pie, and her love of Columbus and desire to contribute to the local food scene. She resides in Clintonville, just steps from the shop, and couldn’t be more excited to provide nourishment for her neighbors, and all of the city that welcomed her so warmly!
