We are a private cake studio serving the greater Austin area . Our focus is providing our clients personal and professional service with excellence in taste and art. Every cake is made from scratch with a focus on fresh, natural, gourmet ingredients.

Glace Cakes started in 2012 in NYC, one year after I had my first child. I had been a Pastry Chef forI over 10 years when i decided to quit my job to be a full time mom. When my son turned one and I tried to buy a beautiful and delicious cake for his party, I realize that it was an impossible task. Birthday cakes were beautifully decorated, but they taste terrible. That’s when I decided to start my own business where cakes would taste like a an amazing dessert. Glace Cakes was born . After a successful 5 years in NYC, we relocated to Austin in 2017

Daniela Arini is a classically trained Pastry Chef with a fun take on cake making. She has worked in the best resorts int he country such as the Breakers in Palm Beach FL, and the Phoenician in Scottsdale AZ, where she made a cake for President Obama. She was the Pastry Chef for David Burke in NYC before starting her own cake business. She recently moved to Austin.
