Watchmaker Specialists is a family owned business. Our master Horologist comes from a family of watchmakers including Watchmaster, Salvador Barrientos and Clockmaker, Williams Barrientos. Bolivian born, Walter Barrientos, came to Chicago in 1974 to seek the American dream. He got his first job at the Elgin Watch Co. based on his skill alone without speaking a single word of English. Since then Walter has been specializing in the repair of high calibre watches in the Houston area.
