THREAD on Grandview opened in January, 2012, and moved across the street to its current flagship location in the fall of 2014. Reflecting Miranda’s own origins and the aesthetics of the brands that THREAD carries, the store is carefully curated in a way that brings a contemporary look and feel with industrial accents and clean, modern lines that mingle with rustic wood and homey touches. The store itself reflects both the heart and mission of THREAD: to deliver a Remarkable Experience by being a presence in the community, through the shared love of and mutual interest in fashion, all while remaining accessible and accommodating.

Owner Miranda Boyle possessed a love of fashion from an early age, partly due to the influence of her stylish grandmother who, in Miranda’s words, «never wore the same outfit twice». Miranda spent years in retail at big and small businesses, and as her career was blossoming, her family began to blossom as well. She made the choice to stay at home, but the spark for the worlds of retail and fashion never diminished.
