Patricia & Josef Losberg opened the doors to The Mind’s Eye Interiors in 1973 in the Lahaina Square Shopping Center. Growing their business with the construction boom of multiple condominium projects on Maui in the 70’s and 80’s, Pat and Josef continued their tradition of high end furnishings. The Losbergs’ built their own building called the Mind’s Eye Square in 1991 and moved into the Mind’s Eye Interior’s space in 1992. Josef passed away in 2016 and Pat has since retired, selling the business. In the summer of 2019, the Losbergs’ top salesperson bought the business. Jean Millsaps and her staff continue to provide superior home furnishings for all of Maui.

After Graduating from the University of Washington with a Interior Design degree, I moved to Maui in 1983. I started working for Josef and Pat in 1986, helping to furnish many of the homes and condominiums here on Maui. I continue today managing all aspects of our business while maintaining a loyal clientele, as the new and sole owner of Minds Eye Interiors.
