Established in 1930.
In 1930 Thomas Lee Dorsey opened for business at 714 W. North Avenue, Baltimore, under the name Park Radio due to his proximity to Druid Hill Park. In 1975, John Dorsey, son of Lee, changed the name and opened the present location along with his brothers, Ed and Richard. The business is now in its third generation. Two grandsons of Lee, Ryan Dorsey and Justin Dorsey, have joined the ranks along with three able and dedicated installation personnel.

I am second generation in the audio business started by my father in 1930. We are now in our third generation. Two of my father’s grandsons work at Soundscape. Several of us have publicly played music. I have spent my entire career, since 1969, in this audio business and continue to work to bring musically satisfying system choices to our customers.
