Lina’s Italian Market has been offering an authentic Italian experience for more than 20 years, with staff who have been with us from the beginning. A staff of approximately 54 is spread throughout the different areas of the busy cafe and cappuccino bar – where customers can enjoy pastries, hot lunches and sandwiches – and also the grocery and general merchandise stores We are located in the heart of Tuxedo Park and are proud to to be a part of this vibrant Italian inspired community. In 2014 Creative Restaurants Group purchased Lina’s Italian Market, Creative’s Italian restaurants include the well known Bonterra, Posto. In 2018 Creative Restaurants Group sold to the Dand Family leaving the store to Matthew Rai whom renovated and operates Lina’s Italian Market today.

Matthew joined Lina’s Italian Market in May 2017. The store was struggling with operations and stock levels after the sale of Lina’s. The goal was set by the Creative group to create the best Italian Store in Calgary and Matt accepted the challenge. Fast forward to December 2017 we now have full shelves, more variety, dinner, and an upcoming renovation to celebrate 25 years of Lina’s.
