In 1950, Anthony Benedetto opened the first Jefferson Feed with a mission to provide high quality horse feed. He went from delivering feed out of a station wagon, to becoming one of Purina’s largest dealers in the world. From those humble beginnings Jefferson Feed Pet & Garden Supply and Neighborhood Pet Market has become one of the largest providers of natural and organic pet foods in Southeast Louisiana.
